First week completed

Well, Sunday ended my first week of training and I must say it was not as hard as I expected....Friday was my rest day...Early Saturday am, I attended my normal 1 hr spin class and decided to do my walk instead of the second spin class I usually do....the 1st spin class was tough, we worked on sprints and I HATE sprints, but it did make my walk more enjoyable....I decided to just go to the park in town instead of fighting traffic from the music festival and go to the beach....one trip around the park is one mile, so I was trying to keep track of how many times I had been around, but with a thousand things running through my mind, it was difficult.....I know I walked around 6 times, but I could have walked 7 times......LOL.....anyway, I walked 6 miles for sure!!!!!! The very much needed rain came in on Sunday and did not stop until late afternoon....I was able to get out in the neighborhood after 5 and do another 6 miles and this time I have a track laid out, so I know exactly how far I had gone, no counting laps, I was never good at that anyway.....Now, I have week #24 down and only 23 left to go.........WooHoo!

  1. Awesome! But you need a pedometer girl! I would lose track of laps too if I didn't have one!

  2. I think I have a pedometer at home. I'll check tonight and bring to you if I can find it. I'm sure it's a huge, outdated, dinosaur! Kinda like my ear phones that make me look I belong on an airstrip. I pretend they are an MP3 player. Hang in there girl !
